Jody Wire is a lifelong resident of Riverside, born at
Riverside
Community
Hospital
. Jody went to school in the
Alvord
School district
, graduating from Norte Vista High in the top 10 percent of his class. He attended
Riverside
Community College
, earning an Associates degree. Jody then transferred to California State University Fullerton and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate.
Jody met his wife Vivian while working at the Sears in
Riverside
where he worked to put himself through college. They were married in Riverside at
Faith
Community
Church
in 1995. Jody and Vivian were blessed with the arrival of their first child, a daughter, in August of 2003.
After graduating college Jody looked into becoming a loan officer, but did not think it was for him. He then started a career in customer service and sales positions, but never felt fulfilled. When he and his wife decided they wanted to have a child, Jody took an Independent Distributor position with Santee Dairies and owned his own milk route. The hours were long and the money seemed good until all the bills came in and he realized he was working for less per hour than some of his previous jobs. Jody was blessed to have a friend that was in the loan business and he took Jody under his wing and started training him to be a loan officer. Jody was also learning the Real Estate side of the business and found that he enjoyed being a Realtor® more than a loan officer. In October of 1999 Jody passed the Real Estate license exam and in November 1999 he left the dairy business to pursue Real Estate full time. Since that time Jody has been able to help many buyers accomplish their home ownership dreams and many sellers to sell their home's for market value.
In 2008, Jody also began teaching a Real Estate course for
Riverside
Community College
’s
Norco
campus. Teaching the course has helped Jody stay in touch with the latest trends and information that affects our current Real Estate market. It has also helped him to remember when he was just starting out in his Real Estate career and the excitement and fulfillment of helping someone to buy a home or sell their home.
